Sleep very painful again. Half Zanaflex at 6:30 again. 6.5g at 9:30. I felt demolished this morning and went for the 6.5. In retrospect, I think I could have done 6. But within the first hour, I almost thought of re-dosing because the pain was bad and I felt terrible. Feeling great at 12:30. Serotonin rush. I guess. Have an ice pack on. Tried the new brace on and felt a lot of pain in the lower spots. Lots of pressure pushing inward. I think it will be helpful though. Not exactly like swinging on the table, but it offers some help. 7g at 3:35. Getting more painful sitting at the desk playing games. I did meds, table, icy hot, new brace, and it felt pretty good. I was laying down for a bit, then sitting in the chair. I got inspired to ride the bike. 25 minutes. I got tired and the pain started coming, but at the end I upped the level and it felt surprisingly good. This needs to keep going. I also found a minimally invasive surgery that puts spacers on the dorsal horn and keeps the facet joints open. That’s probably the ultimate fix. Injections aren’t going to do anything if there is a major mechanical problem. At Loyola, that’s probably 6 years away. Pain getting bad at the desk at 7:30 with brace on. It helps sometimes, kind of hurts other times. Back on the table every time today and getting pain relief! Still hurts like a mofo though, but I can get relief which keeps me going. Mood is good because of it. It will hurt even more when things go tits over asshole. Working on taper schedule now.
