Well, I guess I got that sleep I wanted. I felt like a teenager that couldn’t wake up on the weekend. I woke up a lot, but had a lot of actual sleep. Taking a while to wake up from it. It felt like it was hard work somehow and I’m tired from that. Always something weird. Been a slow day. Finally went for a short walk at 1:30 with an ice pack. Kind of shaky. Not sure if it was normal pain or lack of conditioning. As long as I can recover and get stronger, it’s fine. It’s just that I’ve gotten so fucked by attempting to walk at all over the last few months, so that keeps me worried.
Short walk after dinner at 5:45. Felt better than earlier, but not super strong. Used the cane about 15% of the time. I’m still usually using it for the last couple blocks when I’m tired. Going to try a third walk with an ice pack, but without the cane. I need to force it a little bit. I want to put that cane away. It hasn’t been easy by any means since the injections. It’s more of a binary thing. I wasn’t able to do anything before, now I can do something. I haven’t been able to play games. Happy I can get these walks in.
