Good sleep last night. I really needed that. I feel better for it, although I feel like I woke up with vertigo or something. I feel pretty dizzy for no reason, which is usually vertigo. The fibromyalgia flare from yesterday seemed to break in the late evening – about an hour after I took my evening supplements. The night was much better than the early evening. That part got pretty difficult and it pushed me right up to the edge. I’m glad I stuck with the healthy eating. It’s so easy to derail when those bad times hit. You just go into survival mode and will do anything to get through the horror. I don’t have an appetite this morning, but I’ll force down some fruit just to get some nutrition in me.

One of the basic parts of a whole food, plant based diet is eating at least a certain amount of fruits and vegetables. This becomes especially difficult when you feel completely nauseous from pain and fibromyalgia. This is one of the reasons I haven’t fully committed to it yet. I’m still trying to prove the whole gluten-free thing also, and based on yesterday’s flare up, it makes me not so sure that gluten is a problem for me. It’s just way too inconsistent for me. Sometimes I get flares without gluten, sometimes gluten doesn’t flare me. One thing I do know is that flooding your body with loads of nutrition is a good thing (assuming there are no other health issues to worry about).

Dizziness is fading after lunch. I’m left feeling wiped out and just a bit sick. Sometimes it fades fairly quickly, sometimes it sticks around for a few days. Even when the initial dizziness fades quickly, the after effects still stick around for a while.

Managed a short walk. It was better than the last several days, but still painful. Dizziness is gone. Now I’m just pushing through the after effects. Thankfully this has faded quickly. It doesn’t seem to have flared me up either. Thank goodness.

Went to the store and got lots of vegetables and fruits. I’m hoping this will make me feel better, but so far it’s just not making me feel any worse. I would need to give it a full week first though anyway.
