I was in full crisis mode yesterday evening. Pain was off the charts, fibro was surging. I put on some magnesium oil, took my magnesium oral supplements early, and did a foot soak in magnesium chloride, and in about half an hour I felt magically better. I don’t understand this because I take a lot of magnesium every day. I take 100% RDA every day orally, plus I use the mag oil and sometimes do foot soaks. When I first started the magnesium regimen, I had 3 decent days in a row, then it went back to normal. I don’t get how it helped out last night when I already had used a lot of it throughout the day.
I ordered a couple different types of oral magnesium today. Maybe they will have better quality and/or better absorption. I made more mag oil a couple nights ago, so I’m set with that. I tried drinking some diluted mag oil today. I don’t know how that will treat me. I’m also wondering if I have trouble absorbing it, and if so, why? This was one of the reasons I went gluten free. Celiac can give you problems absorbing nutrients in the intestines. I don’t have Celiac, nor do I have any kind of symptoms. Regardless, I did my whole diet change thing for about 3 months without any benefits. Also, I came up with all of this like 4 months ago, then I obviously completely forgot all about it. How the hell does that happen? It’s probably all a fluke anyway, and it will all be a waste of money I don’t have. More snake oil.
I got a tiny bit of walking in. It’s quite painful, but I’m glad to get it in. I’ve been overloading on magnesium all day, and so far it seems to be helping. It’s a lot of work getting that much into my body. I’m talking a LOT of magnesium. I’ll probably get used to it in 3 days again, then back to shit. Same as always. This doesn’t seem sustainable. Pain is still bad, I’m just pushing the fibromyalgia back for the time being. Nothing changes for me until I get pain relief, and I don’t get that until I see a doctor who will actually help me, and probably a surgery.
